We begin our adventure with a journey through the Valley of Roses, passing the lush Skoura Oasis and its magnificent kasbahs. A short walk takes us to Boutaghrar, a charming Berber village nestled by the Mgoun River in the Atlas Mountains.
We then continue our desert circuit towards the impressive Todra Gorges.
Overnight in Tinghir.
This morning, we set off towards the vast Moroccan desert. We start with a walk to explore the gorges and the surroundings of Tinghir.
In the afternoon, we head to the dunes of Merzouga via the Tafilalet Valley and Erfoud.
A camel ride takes us across the dunes to our desert camp, just in time to witness a stunning sunset over the sea of sand.
Overnight in a desert bivouac under the stars.
At sunrise, we enjoy the magical light over the dunes before riding our camels back to meet our 4x4 vehicle.
We continue our journey toward the Draa Valley, passing through Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and N’Kob, where we stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, we follow the ancient caravan route through the palm groves of the Draa Valley until we reach Tansikht and then Zagora.
Overnight in Zagora.
On our final day, we travel north to Ouarzazate, passing through Agdz and crossing the Tizi-n-Tinfifite pass at 1,660 meters in the Anti-Atlas mountains.
We arrive in Ouarzazate by late morning, carrying unforgettable memories of our desert journey.
